WRC stages in Monte-Carlo and Great Britain can become the first "prestigious" victims of planned on the races rotation of the 2009 calendar principle which final will pass in October in Ireland. On the last Wednesday FIA Commission on World Rally has submitted FIA the calendars project for 2009-1010. It is expected, that, beginning with 2009, the number of stages in a season will be reduced from sixteen up to twelve, selected from twenty four rallies-candidates. The remained dozen of races will generate a calendar of the 2010 season.
Applicants for hit in the preliminary list of twenty four stages-candidates, in addition to already existing rallies, can become India, Indonesia, Russia, Abu Dhabi, Oman and, probably, China.
